2nd Annual San Diego Journalism Holiday Party. Members of The AAJA, SDABJ, CCNMA, and SPJ will all be at Dave & Buster's for this party. This is an exellent opportunity to get out there and meet professional journalists! Cost is only $5.00 and you must RSVP at (858) 467-7222.

Last official meeting of the year. For those who have difficulties with our name, good news! Those present at the meeting agreed to shorten our name to "City Organization of Student Journalists" or just COSJ. Plans to participate in next year's Martin Luther King Day Parade was also discussed.

The CCNMA's 6th Annual La Pluma Awards Banquet. Several group members attended the banquet, fully taking advantage that many journalists and news directors in were in attendance.
